A secret Forest close to Nantes ??!

Don’t you ever wanted to be walk during summer, covored and safe from sunlight, without any car noise or something similar at only 15 minutes from the center of Nantes ?

This place exist for real. With their 17.7 hectare, this is adapted to suit your every need and desire. You want to admire a sunset ? You will also admire a magnificent see with reflection of “L’Erdre”.

You want to breath and think about complicated thing ? There is a Church that can welcome you and protect you from any sound.

You have children ? That’s not a problem, there is also a farm with cows and donkeys. Don’t worry, there is fences so kids are safe.

This most surprising thing in this place is that there is not of people there. Indeed, there is the parc of “La Beaujoire” (a review of this spot will be done soon ) that is closer from the center of Nantes then the parc of “L’Erdre”.

Let’s talk about pros and cons :

Pros :

1. The size : This place is gigantic ! There more then 17 hectare to explore !
2. Varied : there is multiple places to visit there, not only durt and stone ! A church, a castle, a farm, some sheds, statues, etc….
3. The view : The sunset is just wonderful. The reflection with l’Erdre is just increble.
4. Lot of banc and ways : There is so much path in this parc. Indeed, there is differents ways everywhere to make each ballads unique and varied. Also, there is a lot of banc, prooving that each path is good and was expected to be used like this.
5. Peaceful : There is no noise, no pollution, no cars….

Cons :

1. The dirt : The thing is that we are really close to nature. That involved there is a lot of dirt and roots. The problem is that, in a town like Nantes, where it rains 9 months in a year, that can become a problem.
2. Inaccessible place : This is a some problem as before : we are close to nature. There is ways adapted for disable, but it’s only main ways. Also, the best spot to watch the sunset or sometime hard of access (even for people without any medical problems)

 

CONCLUSION:

This park is perfect for everyone. Aside from the access problem, everybody can found his count in a place likfe this. There is everything there to make you happy
