Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could skate, and surf, AND play on the beach in the same afternoon ?!
Do you know Les Sables D’Olonne ? This sea city is really full of activities and spots. So today, i’m gonna show you a place that is really popular and pretty cool.
This area is composed with 2 simple things : a bowl and the beach. His name is “Tanchet”.
The bowl is really big and kinda Hardcore, so beginners, be careful. Otherwise, this bowl is really good and lot of tricks are able to be done. The main problem is the sand. Indeed, this bowl is really near the beach, and sand flies right into the place, making skate really uncomfortable and really dangerous. If i got one tip, it would be take a broom and clean it before skating, then skate.
10 Meter away, there is strairs going to the bitch. Which say that there is surf. This place is really great for beginner or comfirmed surfer. This area is dedicated for this, so don’t worry you won’t kill anybody. But there is a lot of people there, it is not a secret spot, majority of people there are tourists. So, try to go for it in the morning/early afternoon. Also, expect a lot of people stangding on the sand, waiting to get a tan.
By the way, a forest is at 10 minutes of walk. There is trees, and shadows; which are perfect during the summer. Also, there is a wonderful sunset
If you go in Les Sables d’Olonne, you need to check this place. If you are “Old” (30 – 40 years), you can go here with your kids, friends, during the day then do a pic nic with them, during the sunset with wine or champagne. If you are young ( around 17/18 etc…), there is a lot of young people, drinking and having fun on the beach during summer (Inhabitants and tourists).
In Conclusion, there is a lot of thing to do in this spot, from the morning to the night. It is really easy for access, and pleasant to go. But this place is kinda known and a lot of people come there.
